A short history of the Charaktêres Project
The Charaktêres Project started in 2008, in 2010 I set up a blog to make the research progress available to everyone who is interested in the topic. I had always worked on the Charaktêres alongside my jobs. Now, in november 2016, I received a grant by the German Research Foundation which means I will be able to focus on the research full time. Thanks to this grant the Charaktêres Project will be situated at the University of Erfurt from January 2017 to December 2019.
In this blog I write about the progress of my work, about the sources, and about news on the topic. I will also share my thoughts and ideas for discussion. In the main menu you can find information about my talks, papers, and monographs. Whenever possible I make my publications available electronically in open access under the creative commons license. Now, enjoy reading!
My first attempt to gain an overview of the charaktêres by drawing each sign of each source individually.
